About the event
Inspired by the adventure shown in the film, The Way Back, we invite you to join us on a once in a lifetime experience riding horses to access backcountry ski terrain. The trip will be properly permitted through the US Forest Service with permitted outfitters and guides. If this type of adventure perks your interest, click RSVP to be added to a list we will notify when it’s available to sign up for. Tentatively scheduled for spring 2025.
This journey will deepen your connection to the land, the soft and strong nature of horses, invigorate your wild side with skiing remote terrain, and forge new friendships through shared meals, fireside conversation, and simply slowing down to have fun. The horse packing element honors traditions of western life and the skiing will be about hunting down perfect corn snow while witnessing spring come alive.
